This audiovisual collage was composed for Clarence Barlow to celebrate his sixtieth birthday. It reflects some aspects of his life embedded in historical time illustrated by a series of subjectively chosen pictures with cultural or political content and popular music extracts. Each year of Barlow’s lifetime is connected to a picture and a synchronously played snippet of music from that very year. They pass with accelerating speed indicating the psychological sense of time hastening with increasing age.

(first performed in Cologne, Oktober 14th, 2006)
